BPR Fan Finds a Treasure

We love our Instagram community of rug lovers, buyers and seekers, and one friend made the most of all our content when she found a diamond in the rough!

“We found it on the street in Chicago rolled up with a ‘free’ sigh on it!” the lucky gumshoe told me. “All I could see was the back weave, but by all I’ve learned from following you, I immediately knew this was vintage & going to be amazing. I made my husband throw it in the bottom of the stroller & brought it home, got it cleaned & we’ll love it & have it forever. Thank you for educating all of us.”

We’re over the moon at the happy ending! So much of our work is researching and examining rugs with expert eyes, so we can confidently offer them to you as authentic vintage and antique rugs, made by artisans in centuries past to look great for generations and weather beautifully instead of fading and fraying like imitation ‘old’ rugs. We’re elated whenever we find one, and we loved hearing about one of our friends experiencing that same thrill!
